Special Days

Sometimes I'll post things that have nothing to do with tech but just my life, here is one of those.

This year my wife and I have started "special days". How it works for us is this.
January is Daddy/ Dylan day, Feb is Mommy/Sarah day, March is Daddy/Ariana day, April is Mommy/Dylan day ....
So 1 day each month one of us does something special with one of them.
Will is still too young but I'm sure he's looking forward to jumping right in.
Anyway in Jan I took Dylan to the Braves open house. He and I loved it. (I got to pitch in the bullpen)
Last month Dawn took Sarah on her day. They went and had breakfast at Panera and then did a little shopping. I was huge to her.

Ok so now here is where I need your help. This Saturday I'm having my Ariana day. It's a special day for a 4 yr old girl with her daddy. I'm looking for ideas that are not too expensive. Any ideas?

well i got a couple of ideas

1. maybe take her to make one of those stores like builder bears or something like that. i got make a dog once while i was there and it was cool. there is a builder bear shop at Arbor Place mall but im sure you could find one closer.

2. take her to a park, like the newnan utilities(or what ever it is called) and have a picnic with her or something like that. that is always fun.

its kind of hard coming up with an idea seems how im a guy and she is a girl and i dont know what they like. but i hope that this helps some. there is a builder bear shop at Arbor Place mall but im sure you could find one closer.

okay, since i am the mother of 3 boys my suggestions will probably stink, but here goes ...

1) Animals are usually a hit with boys and girls. If the zoo is more than you want to spend, try the animal rehab place in Grantville. Or that place the youth leaders used to go to out past the Baptist Children's Home.

2) I'm seeing you sitting down to tea with Ariana and her stuffed animals--you know, a Teddy Bear Tea Party!

3) A skate date might work. I think the local place has hours on Saturday morning for little ones to skate.

4) Then there's the AJC. Since it's St. Patrick's Day on Saturday there may be some inexpensive events going on that would work for you.

Whew! That's about all I can give you on that one.
